Here in Lough Ree Power Boat School at Hodson Bay, Athlone, we are acutely aware of the beautiful environment we are privileged to enjoy and work in all year around. We are proud to say that we have probably done more at ground level to introduce safe and responsible boat driving practices than any other body on the Shannon.

Without exception, every student at Lough Ree Power Boat School Hodson Bay Athlone will have talked in detail to either myself or one of our senior Instructors before coming on one of our courses. There is of course a very good reason for this! Call us for details ! |

| Marine VHF Course Athlone Sat 19 May 07 |

Marine VHF Course Modules 1 and 2 in the Creggan Court Hotel ( At the Dublin end of the Athlone Bypass ) Athlone on Sat 19 May 07 from 9 am to 8 pm.
The course takes place in Athlone, there are 12 spaces available, the course covers both Module 1 and Module 2.
The course duration is 1 day and the price is €260 per person. This includes the examiners fee, the examination fee and the VHF license fee. Note that the examination takes place immediately after the course. No second day of exams !!!
The pre course work generally takes about a week. I can email the per course pack to you once a booking has been confirmed.

superb weekend's training course. The course exceeded all my
expectations. It provided me with the confidence to get out and enjoy
this fantastic sport. I have since enjoyed a wonderful weekend on the
Shannon with my family. I had no prior experience of handling a boat of
any description, and thanks to John's expert tutelage by Sunday evening I
was amazed at the amount I had learned and feel very confident that I can
now fully enjoy this sport while having a full appreciation of the dangers
that can exist. Great crack and many thanks John !

Our office is closed while we are on annual holidays.
For information, the School is fully booked up until late August. The office will re-open on Monday 13 August when we will be taking bookings for late August and September.
